Greetings!

We welcome those who are visiting our website
in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!

"The visitation of a person is, in fact, an extraordinary event. For they come with their past, present, and their future. It is the entire lifetime of one individual that visits."
- From ‘Visitor’ by Hyeon-Jong Jeong

There is a saying in Korea, “It is a fateful encounter even if we just brushed past each other.”

  • It is clear that meeting someone in our lives is a mysterious gift from God.
  • It is even more so when we meet each other in the Lord.
  • We welcome you with all our hearts.
  • We welcome your past self, who struggled, falling countless times and yet trying to get back up again.
  • We welcome your present self; you are worthy to be loved, not based on your circumstances, but because of your existence.
  • And with your future self, who is on the way to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, we would like to welcome others together.

God is Love

  • Love comes from God, and only those who love one another truly know God, for God is love. We desire to know God properly. Therefore, we will strive to love one another with all our hearts (1 John 4).
  • God teaches us that we have become one family in Christ when our relationship is marked by an earnest endeavour to love one another in Him (Eph 2).
  • Following this beautiful truth, we pray to become a family rooted on the foundation of the cross—on the love of Jesus, who Himself became our cornerstone—growing stronger and being built up as each soul is joined together (Eph 3).
  • To the Calvary Chapel family, who are God’s chosen people and of royal priesthood:
Let us not dream our own dreams but dream God’s dream together.
May we freely pour out the indescribable, great glory of God which we enjoy, as well as the love of God into the world, which we have come to know by tasting it. (1 Peter 2)
